2024 Amgen Scholars North America Symposium

The annual Amgen Scholars North America Symposium brought together all fifteen cohorts from the U.S. and Canada for three days of networking, participating in discussions about the summer’s research experiences, hearing from experts in biotechnology field in academia, Amgen scientists, and Amgen Scholars alumni. Keynote speakers included Dr. Rachelle Crosbie, Professor of Integrative Biology and Physiology and Professor of Neurology at UCLA; Dr. Giles Yeo, MBE, Professor of Molecular Neuroendocrinology in the Medical Research Council Metabolic Diseases Unit and Scientific Director of the Genomics/Transcriptomics Core at the University of Cambridge; and Dr. Carlyn Crosostomo, Vice President and Executive Director of Digital Health & Innovation at Amgen Inc.
